When you can't speak for yourself, Guardian can.

A secure emergency profile, a personal Emergency QR, and a safety network that notifies the people you trust — so critical information and the right people are ready when it matters most.

$8 / monthabout 27¢ a day

Two pillars

One profile. One circle. Ready either way.

Emergency Information

Build a profile with the details a responder, coworker, or stranger would need if you couldn't explain them yourself.

  • Medical infoBlood type, allergies, conditions, medications.
  • InsuranceProvider, policy and group numbers, insurer phone.
  • Emergency contactsWho to call, and how they're related to you.
  • Personal Emergency QRA scannable code that resolves online to only the fields you've marked visible. Choose an offline-readable mode to embed lifesaving basics directly in the code for when a scanner has no signal — those embedded fields can't be revoked once printed.
  • Per-field visibilityYou choose exactly which fields a scan discloses, field by field.

Guardian Safety Network

A trusted circle you choose, ready to be alerted the moment you need them.

  • SOS to enrolled contactsOne long-press notifies your saved emergency contacts and Trusted Circle by text and/or email — but only contacts who personally opted in and confirmed their number can receive texts.
  • Secure acknowledgment linksEach recipient gets a link scoped to that one alert so you can see who has opened it.
  • Optional situation contextAdd a short plain-text note about what's happening, and post updates afterward — never required to send an alert.
  • Trusted CircleVerified OWOS Identity connections you invite and can remove at any time.

Guardian is not an emergency service and never contacts 911 for you. In a life-threatening situation, always call your local emergency number first. Delivery of any alert is never guaranteed.

Who Guardian helps

Built for the moment you can't explain it yourself.

Nonverbal & autistic people

Share communication needs and medical details without having to speak them.

People with speech disabilities

Let a scanned profile do the talking when words are hard to find.

Lone & field workers

Isolated job sites, remote routes, or working alone after hours.

Travelers

Unfamiliar places where nobody nearby knows your situation.

Seniors

Critical medical details on hand for a fall or sudden episode.

Event & festival attendees

Crowded, loud environments where finding you or reaching someone is hard.

Severe allergies & chronic conditions

The first-minute facts a responder needs, right on the card.

Caregivers & anyone temporarily unable to communicate

Shock, injury, or overwhelm can happen to anyone, anytime.

How Guardian works

Four steps to being ready.

  1. 1

    Create your profile

Add the medical, insurance, and contact details you want available in an emergency. Nothing is required beyond what you choose to enter.

  2. 2

    Choose what's visible

Turn on visibility field by field. Hidden fields are never shown to a scanner, and you pick your Emergency QR's privacy mode.

  3. 3

    Carry your Emergency QR

Print or save it to your wallet, badge, backpack, or vehicle so it's on hand wherever you are.

  4. 4

Build your circle & use SOS

Add emergency contacts and Trusted Circle connections. If something happens, a long-press SOS notifies the people you enrolled — always call 911 first.

Our privacy promise

Your information stays yours.

Nothing is shared unless you chose to share it

A scan only ever returns the fields you've explicitly marked visible. Hidden fields are never returned.

Per-field visibility

Control disclosure at the individual field level — not an all-or-nothing switch.

Sponsors get zero access

Anyone who pays for your membership never sees your medical info, QR contents, scans, location, contacts, or alerts.

No ad trackers

Guardian runs no third-party advertising trackers and does not sell your data — ever.

Export or delete anytime

Your data is yours. Export a human-readable copy or delete your account from your settings whenever you choose.

Why Guardian exists

Built so critical information is there when you can't speak for yourself.

Guardian started from a simple problem: in the moment you need help most, you may not be able to explain your medical needs or who to call. We built Guardian so that information is ready — under your control, visible only where you choose — and so the people you trust can be reached quickly.

Guardian is part of a wider effort at OWOS to build identity and safety tools that put the individual in control. We don't broker, sell, or monetize your data — Guardian's membership is how the product is funded, full stop.

Simple membership

$8 / month. Everything included.

One personal plan. No add-ons, no upsells. Your Guardian membership includes your emergency profile, unlimited Emergency QR rotations, trusted circle connections, and SOS. Billed monthly and renews until you cancel; cancel anytime from your account settings and access continues to the end of the period you already paid for. Guardian does not offer a free trial.

Sponsoring other people

Members can sponsor Guardian for others: 10 seats for $70/month ($7 each), 100 seats for $600/month ($6 each), or 1,000 seats for $5,000/month ($5 each). Sponsorship pays for someone's access — it never transfers account ownership and gives the sponsor no access to a recipient's medical information, QR contents, scans, location, contacts, or alerts. Sponsored plans are purchased from inside a Guardian account.

Frequently asked

Questions people ask before signing up.

What does a scanner see when they scan my Emergency QR?

Only the fields you've explicitly marked visible — nothing else. Every online scan is logged in your own audit log with the time, and the fields that were disclosed.

Does it work without the app, or without signal?

Your Emergency QR always works as a scannable code. If you choose an offline-readable privacy mode (Balanced or Maximum Emergency Access), select lifesaving basics — like blood type, allergies, conditions, medications, and a couple of contacts — are encoded directly into the QR image, so they're readable with a phone camera even with no internet connection. That information can't be revoked once a printed copy exists, and it stays static until you reprint it.

Is my medical information private?

Yes. Fields are hidden by default and shown to a scanner only if you turn them on. Your OWOS Identity Number, insurance policy details, home address, date of birth, and email are never embedded in any QR mode and stay behind the audited online scan.

Does Guardian call 911 for me?

No. Guardian never contacts 911 or any emergency dispatcher. In a life-threatening situation, always call your local emergency number first. SOS notifies the contacts you enrolled — it does not summon emergency services, and Guardian never guarantees that an alert is delivered, read, or acted on.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancel anytime from your account settings. Guardian doesn't offer a free trial, and your access continues to the end of the period you already paid for before it ends. There's no partial refund for unused time.

What does SOS actually do?

A long-press starts a 5-second cancel window, then sends an alert by text and/or email to your saved emergency contacts and Trusted Circle, with your location if you've granted it. Text messages only go to contacts who personally opted in and verified their number. Each recipient gets a secure link scoped to that one alert so you can see who's acknowledged.

Does a sponsor see my data?

No. A sponsor funds your membership and nothing else. They never get access to your medical information, QR contents, scans, location, contacts, or alerts, and cannot act on your behalf or delete your account.

What's the minimum age to use Guardian?

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Guardian account. Users 13–17 need a parent or guardian's permission before purchasing a membership.
